Far Arden Recordings is a record label based out of Manhattan, NY. As a branch of Streets of Atlantis productions, the agency and label are blended together. More than a label that releases any electronic music, we look for emotion and poetry deep within the beats. The artists that release music with us have a future based approach to their production and strive to move the listeners heart with their originality. Some of the terms coined from this approach to describe the genres are Lovestep, Future Bass, Cosmic Crunk, and just plain Purple. We also provide downtempo/organica beats for mind soothing. We differ tremendously from the mainstream media and our artists connect with their fans in all aspects, creating a new community in the bass culture. The name “Far Arden” is taken from a poem by Jim Morrison. He states “in that year there was an intense visitation of energy”. As a label, an agency, and production company, we will bring that year back.
